Our Wedding
Message From the Couple
A Note from Zac & Ashley
Dear family and friends,
First off, we just want to say thank you.
Thank you for being a part of our lives and supporting us. Whether you're joining us in Cabo or cheering us on from afar, we’re so grateful for your love and presence.
We know it’s a sacrifice to travel for a wedding, and we’re beyond grateful that so many of you will be with us to celebrate our big day. Your attendance is the best gift we could ask for, so please, no presents! Just come ready for tacos, margs, and a night of dancing (Ashley wants a dance party on the beach, and a dance party is what she’ll get! 💃🎉).
We encourage you to reserve your room well in advance to secure the accommodations that best fit your needs. The resort is very family-friendly, and children are welcome to join you on your trip. For the wedding day itself, we kindly request an adults-only ceremony and reception.
We’re so excited to spend this weekend with you, enjoying good food, laughter, and making memories we’ll always treasure. This weekend is all about celebrating love. The love we share and the love we have for each of you, our favorite people.
Nos vemos en México!
With all our love,
Zac & Ashley
About Us
Zac & Ashley: No Corkscrew, No Problem
They met at the gym. Ashley was the boss (Literally. She managed the place). Zac was a member. One of them broke the "no-dating-members" rule. We’ll let you guess who. 😏
Their first date was at Postino, their favorite happy hour spot, where wine was poured, bites were shared, and the conversation flowed like they’d known each other forever. The night was going so well, they didn’t want it to end… so they grabbed a bottle of wine and headed back to Zac’s.
There was just one problem: no wine opener.
What followed involved nails, a hammer, and a small explosion. The wine made it out of the bottle (and onto the ceiling). It’s still there, a permanent reminder of the night it all began.
They fell hard and fast. Two weeks in, Zac asked Ashley to be his girlfriend. For Ashley, it was Zac’s ability to be so him, funny, emotionally open, endlessly kind, and somehow even more obsessed with ice cream than she was. For Zac, it hit after a DU hockey game, walking to a dive bar with Ashley being her silly, authentic self. He just knew.
Since then, life has looked a lot like long walks, brewery hopping, hiking, spontaneous adventures, tacos + margaritas, and hanging with their dog Rowan at the park. They cheers their plates before every meal, give 8-second hugs, and never run out of things to laugh about. Over time, their once always-on-the-go social calendars quieted, not because they had to, but because they genuinely just love being together.
Then came Cabo. April 4, 2025. Zac had fully convinced Ashley that there was no way he’d bring a ring on vacation (“too anxious,” he said, and she believed him). But he pulled off the surprise, proposing at sunset during a walk on the beach. She said yes (duh). And fun fact: he unknowingly proposed right in front of the gazebo where they’ll be getting married on November 7, 2026.
They’re similar in all the best ways: fun, active, snack-loving goofballs, but it’s their differences that make them magic. Ashley brings the spark and spontaneity; Zac brings the calm and steady. They balance each other, ground each other, and make each other better.
Ashley says Zac is the most steady, kind, magnetic person in any room, funny, warm, and just good.
Zac says Ashley has the kindest heart, the silliest humor, and the cutest butt. (He’s not wrong.)
They can’t wait to say “I do” surrounded by the people who’ve loved them through it all.
But first: wine. With a corkscrew this time. 🍷

Wedding Party
Maggie Hamilton
Maid of Honor
What started as just coworkers in 2022 quickly turned into voice memos, 5-hour marg hangs, CAAMP concerts, deep conversations, and the kind of friendship they’d both never experienced before. Maggie is Ashley’s very best friend, and this day wouldn’t be complete without her.
Patrick Balcerzak
Best Man
Patrick + Zac met in 8th grade as the 2 new kids at school + have been causing problems ever since. Living 10 houses apart meant most days were spent playing sports + hanging out. Through every stage of life, Patrick has remained Zac’s best friend and still somehow beats him at golf occasionally.
